          Department stores are all the fashion in last ten years. Department stores have a lot of shops and trademarks. Also usually they are being built in metropolises. Being built depatment store in Konya is terribal idea. Why?

          Department stores are creating a consumer society. When people going on there, they always be besotted with buying something. They don't need anything even though they buy something
. Another instance, even if when people are not hungry, tehy eat unhealthy food. People don't realise the time. When people going to there, they do not realize how fast the time passed. For example, one person go to department store for buy one shoe. Maybe in there be at least 10 shoe store also they are not same location. All shoe stores are different location, but they generally have same shoes. And they are usually expensive. When that person is going to from side to side that person will see so many stores or seller. Then that person will start to look at the other stores so the person will spend many money for insignificant things. Because of these reasons, department stores generally building for create a consumer society.

          Other reason about being built department store in Konya, Konya already have 3 department stores. I think, 3 department stores more than enough for one city not just for Konya, for all cities. Because department stores a lot of shops, cinema, something different staff. People don't visit to historival places in Konya because of department stores. When people are meeting some their friends, they usually go to department stores, not historical places or Mevlana.

          You can built  quality of schools or hospitals or someting important places with that money you will built the department store. Konya need to some hospitals and parks. Because I saw a lot of crowded in hospitals. People are waiting at least 1 hour for talk to the doctors. Or schools. I f you built some schools, you can give more quality lesson. Maybe children will be more informed and happy. You think, department stores are more inportant for humanity, I don't think so.

          In brief, department stores harm to humanity more than benefit. If they really want to built a department store,  I think,  they can built more humane places.
